Los verbos son las palabras de acción en una oración que describen lo que está haciendo el sujeto. Junto con los sustantivos, los verbos son la parte principal de una oración o frase y cuentan una historia sobre lo que está sucediendo.
De hecho, sin un verbo, los pensamientos completos no se pueden transmitir correctamente, e incluso las oraciones más simples, como “María canta”, tienen uno.
En realidad, un verbo puede ser una oración en sí mismo, con el sujeto, en la mayoría de los casos donde el sujeto esté implícito, como “¡Canta!” o “¡Maneja!”
